If we were having coffee right now, I would have done my manicure because every time I’m with you, I make sure to be the prettiest I can. Because I know how much you like when I put this nail polish, when I wear this ring and when I perfume my hair.
If we were having coffee right now, I would be smiling at the sight of you and staring at your eyes so blue the sky could be jealous. Silence between us would be comfortable, that’s why I would dare to keep looking at you with no words but a thousand thoughts of us.
If we were having coffee right now, I would talk to you about my life here, in London, and how much I’m doing my best to find the balance I need into this crazy life. You too then would share what is happening in yours and how you handle things since I left Nantes. You would tell me your life is great but not enough, you would like to move forward and start new projects. I would encourage you as I used to do and keep telling you how much it’s important to live the way you think is right for you.
If we were having coffee right now, I would make sure to make you laugh and bring the vibes you need to make your day better and even the day after if I’m good enough at that. Because sometimes I feel guilty being away from you. I would move a mountain if I could be by your side any time you need.
If we were having coffee right now, we would talk about the past, the good moments and how much we would love to make our futures better and together. Because this conversation keep being in the middle of our lives. This feeling that even if it’s done for years now, it keeps beating inside us, strong enough to start again.
If we were having coffee right now, I would tell you how much I’m grateful for being besides me after years. How much I’m thankful for you, who makes me believe Love is authentic, imperfect but human.
Full love – Roxie
