5 reasons why I love London

As I said in my previous article “5 things I learned from living abroad”, moving to London has been the best decision I have ever made. I have not lived here for long (just over year) but I can already say why I will always be in love with this city.

Vegan Friendly City

As a vegan, it’s always important to know you are living in the right place to enjoy your diet. Maybe a small detail but trust me, when I go to France I know already how much I’m going to struggle to eat what I want to eat. London is one of the best places to try, discover and enjoy all different types of vegan food!

Make the most of it

Londoners – and I could say British people overall actually – are the best at making the most of anything. It makes the city much more pleasant even if it’s raining. There is always a good reason for them to celebrate and enjoy the little things and this is maybe something that French people should take some notes on…

There’s always something to do

Whether you are looking for a hipster place with a typical instagrammable brunch, an art gallery, museum or a hidden park in the middle of the capital, you will find it here.

Escaping the hustle and bustle easily

Something that I’m the most grateful for is living next to big parks where I can easily disconnect myself from the hustle and bustle of the city and almost forget that I’m in one of the biggest in the world.

People

With big cities we can be mistaken for thinking they come with big attitudes but actually, Londoners are a bit different. Their self-deprecating humour and an endearing refusal to take oneself seriously is probably the most British thing about London.

I would be curious to know what are the reasons why you love where you live?

Full love – Roxie
